Linked account issue. keeping me from buying EA games

So like many people apparently, my Xbox account is linked to a EA account that is no longer active. The EA account hasn’t been used in years and the email associated hasn’t been active in at least a decade. The “line” to talk to someone in support only goes up as it told me 218 minutes at start and then an hour later it was at 231 minutes. I would be willing to call and explain the situation but there is no number to call. If a community manager or some kind of admin would be willing to help with this I would be grateful. I would like to play EA games but it seems like the only way to do that would be to create a new Xbox account and I will not be doing that. EA this is unacceptable.
