Need to recover an account

I currently have two accounts.  I have one account where I installed titles via Epic, and then this one I am typing from now.  The first account was compromised and the email address changed.  Oddly enough, I can still get into the account for that one on the EA app if I launch a game through Epic.  I just can't change anything because of the hacker changing the email address.  If i were to attempt any changes, the hacker would get an email about it and not me.  It does show a redacted address, but the domain for it not for my email address.

The second account is what I am using to type this out.  I sent a ticket using EA help but I have no idea if it went through because I never received an email to confirm it, nor does the ticket/case appear in my account.  I double checked the address and it is correct.  I've seen older posts to contact an agent, but I see no option anywhere to do so.
