Does anyone happen to know if, when the Origin shutdown happens on April 17th, our Xbox 360/Xbox One games that are tied directly to our Origin Accounts will be affected? For example, Need For Speed Rivals, Dead Space 3, Skate 3, Battlefield 4 are all required to connect to our Origin Accounts. Once Origin shuts down, will the online capabilities of these games be affected at all?

Your Xbox Account is linked to your EA Account. When the Origin app is sunset, you will still be able to use your accounts and games as usual. If you're on PC, you will be required to use the EA app instead of the Origin app. If you're playing on console, nothing will change for you.
Regarding the games you've mentioned, you can check a list of sunset games here. If they're not on the list, the online services should continue as usual.
