Permanent Transfer Market Ban — Legitimate Trading Flagged as Coin Distribution?
Hi all — looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a permanent transfer market ban for alleged “balance transfer” / coin distribution.
I believe my account was falsely flagged. I have never bought coins, sold coins, transferred coins between accounts, used a third-party coin service, or intentionally engaged in coin distribution. My transfer profit came from legitimate market trading.
Most of my gains came from normal FUT trading strategies:
- High-volume Shadow chemistry style arbitrage, often buying around lower overnight prices and selling during higher-demand periods
- Bulk gold-card relisting, buying underpriced cards and selling closer to market value
- SBC / football-result speculation based on player demand and real-world results
- Reinvesting profits into larger speculative positions
I also received many “too many actions taken too quickly” temporary market limits from manual bidding/trading, which I think supports that I was an extremely active trader rather than someone buying or selling coins.
Around the time of the ban, I was trading/selling cards like Reece James, Ryan Yates, Robert Pirès, and Jacobo Ramón. My understanding is that these were sold within normal market ranges at the time. I also currently hold a large speculative position in Chris Richards — roughly 50 cards bought around 25k, now valued much higher — which shows that my account growth came from trading and inventory speculation, not outside coin transfers.
The frustrating part is that my appeals keep getting denied with very similar responses, and I still have no clarity on what EA thinks I actually did. Was I flagged for alleged coin buying? Coin selling? Selling above market? Buying below market? Linked-account activity? I have no idea, so I cannot properly address the allegation.
Has anyone successfully gotten a targeted human review for this kind of false positive? Is there a better route than repeated Penalty History appeals?
Not posting personal account details here — just trying to understand how legitimate high-volume traders are supposed to dispute a balance transfer flag when EA does not identify the actual transaction pattern.
