Strike system for account violations

Hello everyone, I have an idea on how violations should be put into a visible strike system (somewhat like how Xbox does theirs) and that violations depending on what they are should expire after a certain amount of time. Something like bullying should be like a year before it expires and no longer counts against you or mentions of self harm should be 2-3 years before they expire, and cheating in a game should be an instant permanent ban, and so on.

I thought this would be very helpful so that people can have a clear understanding of their account standing and to give them more opportunities to keep their progress and money spent in game.

The system is rarely ever fair though.

People get permanently banned for being toxic in a competitive game like apex and in my opinion it shouldn't be that way.

I thought a strike system similar to Xbox's strike system where violations would expire after 6 months to 2 years. Like, standard profanity would be a few months and if someone said something racist it would take up to 2.5 years to expire.

It would be very helpful to people using EA's services to provide more leniency and more room for error so people don't feel unwelcomed

Happy to share your feedback with the team around this pyro474.

We don't really discuss our system and how it works but it tries to be as fair as possible.
