Switching Twitch linked accounts

Can anyone clarify if it's possible to change a linked twitch account on an EA profile?

I've logged into my EA account just recently and noticed a twitch handle I didn't recognise (a jumble of letters and numbers like x252dvx515dvd53525) linked so immediately deleted it. 2FA now setup and all secure.

Now learning that an EA account can only ever have one twitch link in its LIFETIME. Surely there's some measure to remediate if it's potentially fradulent. I can't tell if it's an old login that I've caused (maybe the TV/phone) or a hack but it was definitely not me. 

Trying to raise a ticket is sending me round in circles so trying my hand here. Just wanting to try the BF6 Beta, looks like I've to wait till the weekend.

    actually I stand corrected - had my support ticket closed with absolutely no communication on the matter. Case #218182807

    It's nonsense like this that put people off buying your games. Get a grip EA

    I had exactly the same problem with their support - ended up having to contact a community manager directly via Discord in order to get it looked at!
