You ever figure it out? I have the same exact issue. EA account linked to an old inaccessible yahoo account that was also linked to my Xbox account. My xbox is linked to my new email but I can't link it to my new EA account.
I have the exact same issue. Email associated with my EA account is linked to an old yahoo email (which was deleted because yahoo DELETES YOUR EMAIL if you don’t use it for a year, which should be against the law) and I can’t access my account settings because it requires email verification… EVEN THOUGH I’M ALREADY LOGGED IN TO THE EA ACCOUNT, so I have no way of accessing my account settings to link anything. And can only link it to one Xbox account 🙃. Thankfully it seems everything I needed linked was linked when I created the account in 2013, but yeah.
It’s a completely unsolvable issue because EA’s account verification process is completely redundant and ridiculous and yahoo has no business deleting people’s emails.
Im sure the number of people with this issue will absolutely skyrocket once BF6 launches and they realize they can’t access half of their account.
Also this is not solved. Don’t you dare mark this as solved.

It's stupid. All an unlinking should require is proof you control the Steam/PlayStation/Xbox account and from there have it unlinked.
