Good evening/morning, I can't download split fiction friend pass from EA app, whenever i try to download it says that I do not own the game, which is correct but im trying to download the friend pass.
I hope I’m not too late — I was able to fix this by downloading the Friend Pass version from the Epic Games Launcher, then linking my EA account with Epic Games. After that, I was able to play with my friend, who owns the game through the EA Launcher.
Any fixes on this? Have the same issue. Cannot install Friend's pass via EA App as it cancels download as I do not own the game
Did anyone manage to solve this? I'm having this same issue right now on my account, I just want to download the friends pass and I'm getting the same errors as ZeroOmar00: "there is a problem with your download" then selecting the folder and clicking on download then after a couple seconds the "you dont have acces" error message. I already uninstalled and re installed the ea app three times, I cleared cache, I deleted the folders manually... I don't know what else to do

If they happen to be playing on Steam, and they have any emojis in their user name or display name, they need to remove them as this has caused issues.
I have the same issue and I can't play it with my friend because I got the game and they can't download it and it says they can't download it because they don't have the game, it's called friends pass for a reason!
He sees "Friend Pass" button and "buy Split Fiction"-button. He used "Friends Pass" button... and first time he got "No license" when I invited him (from bought game)... then he checked the game/removed from account and installed again but now he can not even install it ... Steam refuses.

Same on EA and Steam ... thinks Friends Pass is Full game.. Please fix.

EA_Shepard I have the same issue, not only me 2 of my friends also have the same issue we cannot download split fiction friends pass. however other games are okay (it takes two or a way out) the friends pass is downloading just fine. the issue is with only split fiction.
