Okay, so maybe it's something that happens sometimes? I wish we'd gotten the opportunity to play at all honestly. What systems are you using?
Also PC and PS5. I found this answer, maybe it will help you, friend:
"FIX the ps5 user can hit friend pass info and it’ll bring up a web page then you will see in the top right corner a profile icon click that then sign in after signing in leaving the page and join your friends!!"
