Split Fiction crossplay issue with game invite

Same here! My friend and I just bought this game, and we were met with an unpleasant surprise, How long do you think the repair should take?

Because of work and family, my friend and I have about 1-2 hours per week we can play together. This week, the whole 2 hours was spent trying to make this work.

We LOVE Hazelight games, but this is absolutely unacceptable. Please fix it as soon as possible, Hazelight and EA.

The EA Friends Services experienced a small outage last night, but this has been resolved. Are you still experiencing the same issue?

Yes experiencing same issue, hosting full version of Split Fiction on Steam from USA to my girlfriend on PS5 Friend Pass version of game in England. Same issue as everyone else here. This is the first time we are playing. Set aside time for this. NOT HAPPY. Will expect a partial refund from EA who ruin literally everything 

I am also experiencing the same issue, today it doesn't show they are online still

Has there been a fix to this yet? I have bought the game on PS5 today, have made sure and double-checked that there are 2 separate EA accounts and my friend's account has been added to mine as, well, a friend. I invite my friend to the game, he is on PC, but no notifications come up. Waste of an evening, but literally everywhere it says "Oh, it's so simple to do cross-play, there are 4 easy steps, blah blah blah." Most frustrating
