Split Fiction: Graphics Error PC Steam
Using a friend's pass. When starting the game it appears to be loading shaders and then it crashes with the following error:
LowLevelFatalError [File:D:\HazeAutomation\Main\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Util.cpp] [Line: 926]
Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource
Things I've tried:
Cleared Steam Download Cache
Verified File Integrity
Updated Nvidia drivers
Windows 11
Intel 14900KF
RTX 4090
64GB RAM
QHD Monitor 2550 x 1440
Found a Fix for the issue
- Go to Steam Library >> Right-click on the game >> Properties >> General >> Launch Options
- Next, enter -dx11 and close the window. Then, relaunch the game.
If you try using -dx12 the game crashes, so it appears the game defaults to dx12.
