Unable to connect to EA servers 401-18eea

Ok so here is the issue I am having. I have the game purchased on PC and on PS5. Originally I only had it on PC and would host a game on the PC and my son was able to join via friend pass on his profile on the PS5 (sub account mine is main). Now I purchased the whole game on PS5 and installed the full version, but now whenever he tries to host or join game with his profile he gets this error. If I have home join or host a game on my profile it works fine. Any suggestions
