AI tyre temps
Just done mixed conditions in Spain wet dry wet start was fine then to drys also fine last 6 or so lap started raining stayed out on drys aswell as most of the grid my tyre temp drop to just above 50c (blue on the mfd) as expected the ai temps 102c (green on the mfd) so they can keep a good constant pace in the damp unlike myself I know the dev says the AI temps ain't locked but something is definitely up with that. @EA_Groguet please forward this and see what's happening much appreciated keep up the good work with other issues!
- @luke_94bmx No the devs have confirmed Ai tyre temps are always set at optimal temperatures. It’s been that way for years

With this years new tyre model and grip sensitivity to temps. Only way to avoid being seriously handicapped by temps on specific tracks and changeable conditions. Is change tyre temps in simulation meno to surface only. It’s the best workaround. Plus it does have the benefit when setting Ai difficulty. Many players believe it’s the Ai that are unbalanced track to track. Which can be case but only by a couple of clicks. When there’s clearly a pace difference. It’s not the Ais pace. It’s the players and mainly due to loss off grip due to high temps or having to manage temps during race.
Example Hungary in previous years. I get destroyed by Ai80 with temps set to carcass and surface. Change to surface only and I can beat Ai100 without much off a issue
