Always start in P20 no matter where I qualify | 2 Player Career | F1 24

I'm having an issue when I'm playing 2 player career with my friend where I qualify where ever and I always start in P20. We'll complete one lap and it'll show that I'm a whole lap behind. I've had this issue for the past 2 races (Brazil and Las Vegas)
