F1|24 - EA App friend can't join a specific friend's game.

Summarize your bug I have a group of 4 friends. 2 of them can't play together no matter what, the game doesn't allow it. If one of them is not on the lobby, then the 3 of us can play. We don't know what's causing this since 3 of us have the game on Steam, and only 1 has it on EA App.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? Irrelevant.
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Irrelevant.
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Irrelevant.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hard to replicate, since i don't know what's causing it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Friend cannot join.
What do you expect to see? An error occurs when said friend is joining the lobby.

As stated above, i have a group of 4 friends. 2 of them can't play together no matter what, the game doesn't allow it. If one of them is not on the lobby, then the 3 of us can play. We don't know what's causing this since 3 of us have the game on Steam, and only 1 has it on EA App.

They both have tried reinstalling, and all those shananigans. Does anyone have the same problem? Can anyone suggest some possibles fixes i can try?

  • @aed2e080832347e7 Codes are really NOT irrelevant. Could provide insight, particularly one in the session and the one who can’t.

    I would suggest turning Crossplay off, join a random session, then turning it back on, quitting the game then reattempting your lobby.

    Hello Steve! Thank you for your reply. I said it’s irrelevant because, as far as i know, he does not get any report code when the issue happens. Only the message saying he is unable to connect to the game session. (I’m not sure, i haven’t asked him again if anything else appears)

    I’ll ask him if there is any code + to try your fix. I’ll get back to you later.
