It's the same on my Thrustmaster TS-PC racer.
Start the game, The wheel has force feedback, it's got a lot of damping while browsing the menus. First time I join a game and enter the paddock... No ForceFeedback. Continue to the track for time trial or race... No Force feedback.
There is a workaround IF you can pause and exit the game using the WIN button. You can load the control panel for Thrustmaster and go to the force feedback test tab, choose one of the canned demo forcefeedback effects. The wheel jolts strongly. Win tab back into F1 24 and resume your game. Force feedback is now working.
It is incredibly frustrating, and the same every year. I stopped playing 23 after a few hours, it was just too annoying. Probably going to stop with 24 soon too.
It seems like Moza and Logitech have similar problems. It's just not good enough when this happens year after year.
EA Team should focus more to give all players access and FFB to our wheels, so we can play the game with the bugs in the game, instead of not be able to even drive.
This should be the priority

Also the current status of issues seems to be stock.
EA should focus to not release any new games.
Better to just bring a update for F1 23 and work properly.
Just name it "F1"
You are not able to release a game experience which is playable.
It seems like every year, we have to wait months until the main bugs are fixed

They just did that update. Now my wheel has a floating feeling at times. Not to mention still nothing done about the lack of ffb on my g pro wheel. Total garbage this game is turning out to be. No wonder it’s half price now. I should get a refund. lol. Bet they give it away in a couple months. lol. Can’t wait for another game maker to make a f1 game. But like I told u in earlier posts it will be 3months or longer before any thing done to fix ffb. Not even any mentions from ea about ffb to wheels. I think they don’t care any more. Definitely won’t be buying any more of there games considering they don’t bother to fix things after u buy. EA the leader in making games garbage. Lol

So I ended up swapping ps5 for pc and the problem has just become so clear to me. On pc the force feedback is normal and works properly (lots of force coming back through the wheel) but driving the same on ps5 is terrible with nothing coming through. I honestly can't believe that they say that they fix the problems when really they haven't done anything to make it right. Such blatant lying and poor management of what is actually really a simple thing to fix. Evidently managed by useless people that simply are unable to actually do their jobs... but unfortunately that seems to be the norm for a lot of industries these days
