Issues with the game using a Moza R3

Hi!

I just got a Moza R3 with the ESX wheel and STP lite pedals, using it with the Xbox One S.

With the default settings in Moza Pit House and in F1 2024 it was working with no issues. But when using the F1 preset in Pit House the wheel started oscilating quite bad on the straights at high speed.

I tried adjusting wheel damping, speed dependent damping, wheel speed etc. but nothing worked. It wasn't until i put the max wheel rotation at 900° in Pit House it went away without turning down the FFB strength, which in my mind should be unnecessary on a R3 with 3.9nm of torque. The wheel rotation is stil set to 360° in F1 2024. I currently have it set at 720° in Pit House, any lower and the oscilariting returnes. Anyone experiencing this too, or know why this occures?

I also all of the sudden noticed the car wouldn't accelerate properly or reach max speed eventhough it's at full throttle. It's only when using the R3 and not when using the regular Xbox controller. Any takes on this?

I'm new to the sim-world so any and all help is appreciated.

  • @EHFR87 Hi, having similar vibration issues with the R3 and Moza are very slow to offer solutions. I don't use the F1 preset. I find the pithouse app difficult as many index are not visible. Nor am i clear whether, if I set the wheel up in pithouse pc mode, then switch to xbox, mode, whether they are retained. Despite the recommended settings below from one website, the only way I seem to get rid of the violent wheel is to set game assists to the highest level, ie, steering and braking help - but that then takes the fun out of it.
    Basic Settings
Max limit angle - 360 (720 in game)
    Max steering angle - 720
Road sensitivity - 9 (lowering reduces shaking)
    FF Intensity - 70
    Max wheel speed 50%
    Wheel spring strength 0%
    Wheel damper 40%
    Advanced
    FF feedback reversal - off
Max torque output limit - 100%
    Hands off protection - off
    steering wheel inertia - 2800
natural inertia - 300 (moza say try 250)
    wheel friction - 30%
    spped dampening - 65% from 200 kph

If you can access the FFB equaliser (i cannot see the iondex in the app)
    80%
    120%
    170%
    180%
    160%
    FFB Curve linear
  • bonjours
Avec vos parametre vous avez touyjours le meme probleme ? Car moi j'ai essayé divers parametre mais ca ne semble pas fonctioner correctement

  • Set your pit house rotation higher and calibrate your pedals. Should fix it
