Once again - drivers not being demoted from Elite rank after season ends

Once again, after the end of another season in ranked, two drivers (I will not name their names however you can clearly see them if you view the elite division in ranked) have not been demoted back down to Gold 1 like they should have. 

On a personal level, as someone trying to achieve elite rank and trying to achieve that top spot in Elite division, this seems like a very unfair advantage which has come about due to seemingly a glitch in the game’s ranked system. 

And on a broader level, this is not a good look to have two players getting a free ride to Elite rank and being able to score points while this is in theory and by design not supposed to happen. Not a particularly good ‘competitive, ranked’ game mode if the top places in the world are dictated by game glitches. 

It’s very disappointing to see this same issue recurring again, after I saw the same issue raised earlier in the year with no resolution. 
Some communication to the development team on this issue would be appreciated by myself and various others to whom I have spoken about this same issue. 

This really needs to be sorted out by Wednesday morning for UK time, as that is when achieving Elite rank becomes legitimately possible.
