AI ARE TOO OP IN THE WET EA/CODEMASTERS PLEASE LISTEN

I know so many people have discussed this before me but I've just attempted to do a full wet race in Brazil in my myteam career. 5 laps in after I'd been overtaken by every ai and was 3 seconds a lap slower than them a lap, I retired because I have better things to do than drive 36 laps around a track and finish last a lap down to the closest car. In the sprint race on the same difficulty I finished higher than I qualified in 10th.

To be honest, I don't know why I'm even bothering to mention this since ea and codemasters would rather just ignore everyone's problems. Maybe if ea or codemasters actually hired someone to test their games before they released them, they would be good.

With the ai racecraft improvements this year I have had good moments in f1 25. However, as time goes on I'm starting to lose interest in the series. The patches which claim to fix the issues with the game actually do nothing and are just an excuse for codemasters and ea to forget about the game and make us wait another year hoping the next game will be better but will still have fundamental flaws.

  • There is an update to the AI in the wet coming  at the start of season 3 in a couple of weeks times

  • They have plans to make adjustments in the Season 3 patch releasing in mid-September.

    ⏳ AWAITING PATCH ⏳

    • AI | Strength of AI acceleration/out-of-corner traction and wet weather performance
      • Note from Dev: Providing the development team is satisfied with the result, an enhancement to the AI aimed at addressing these characteristics is scheduled for release alongside Season 3 in mid-September
  • As mentioned, there is a planned patch coming soon to resolve this issue.

  • My last and only hope to finally start a career mode and probably our last hope of the devs realising the flawed tyre wear on the pad situation without touching the handling model which is the most positive thing I can think of about this game. And to make it crystal clear I don't want to be any faster or even have better grip than others who use a rig i would be more than happy to know ill probably be less consistent than a wheel user.  A fairer balance between the two is all we ask. Giving away a pitstop in online multiplayer is just not viable and is not worth competing online your basically pi##ing in the wind trying unless your 2-3 seconds quicker against people using a steering wheel. End of the day we have all paid the same price if not more for pre ordering so it should be fair across the board or atleast competively close.

I think Season 3 was to drop around the 17th of September. 10 days out I’d like to know if the “development team is satisfied with the result”.

Do we know if the F2 update for the 2025 season is coming with the patch/Season 3?

You can't half tell everyone is waiting for this patch to drop. The forum has been extremely quiet recently. I hope they've improved the wet weather situation.

It's just a shame that they released it in such a rubbish state in the first place to be honest.

It's extremely poor from the development team that they perceived it to be fine in the first place.

We do now. It’s in the patch notes for 1.12. Sept 15.

I think many gave up. Funny, usually the odd year games are better than the even ones but this year is the worst. That we can be 4 months in before they attempt a real fix for wet racing is mind boggling. That we can be 4 years in from the custom car first appearing and still have mirrors too far out and even fewer good customizable liveries base liveries, suits, helmets and gloves is even more incredible. That we can still have pit box order never change from season to season shows a complete lack of detail.

I know from having done a BETA years ago that they don’t actually give anything to test so they either do it in house or cook it like spaghetti (throw it at the wall and see if it sticks).
