I’m not sure if this is the right thread, but I would love to be able to map a button to record a “issue” during any point of the lap - particularly in my career/ Grand Prix modes, during in a race or in practice modes which could then be transmitted to a telemetry app that is running.
use case: during a race, I get unusual understeer in one corner. I press the “issue” button to log it. Next lap, I get oversteer in another corner. I press the button again to log it.
The telemetry app can then provide me a list of all issues logged, so I can either click into them to investigate that telemetry to see if I can spot why the issue occurred from the data.
I am on PS5 using the SRT telemetry app. Appreciate the second part of my request relies on a telemetry app creating the feature.
Anyone know if I can do this already, or would this need to be developed by CM/EA?
Just a thought 🖖🏽
You'd have to build something yourself I presume, as off the shelf telemetry apps might not have this feature, but you can watch what buttons are pressed already so you just pick a button to press and whenever that is pressed, line it up with your recorded telemetry.
Your app could be simple enough that it just keeps the lap number and percentage of lap completed for the current driver, then store that for you to dig into your existing telemetry app.
