Downshifting
I checked the forum and couldn't find anything about this. Asked all my guys in our league to make sure it wasn't just me having this issue.
What physics were changed for downshifting aggressively at high rpms/speed?
Example, I'm coming into a corner, braking lightly and downshifting quickly, but the gears don't go down to where I wanted them to be. They'll get stuck it seems. Say around 3rd-4th depending on how fast slow. I thought my paddles weren't working right.
That said I did do some trial and error. If speeds/rpms are not high, I can go from 8th to 2nd quickly. If at speed and rpms up over say 10.5k ish, it will only allow a few gears down until speed drops.
Is this something that changed? If so, what are the parameters for the rpm/shifting? I thought it may be because I was on TC. Seems that is not the case because others in my league are not using TC and still have that hesitation.
Can anyone elaborate on this?
