Esports drivers dont know how a F1 Car on the Limit feels. Driving lower classes doesnt justify how much of a Feedback you can give to Help developing a Game. The only solution is to work with Real drivers and Engineers together to develop.

And the more real they make it the worse it’ll be for the average gamer.

Not necessarily. They can make the Handling good and still hold it simple. If you drive on iRacing its a full sim game you cant even change the Camera and setup work would be more complex. I from my side dont care about much i just want a consistent Handling model close to how a car can behave when you overdoit or stay on a Normal line. Not these Random Traction and grip loss moment where you cant do anything against it. I dont understand why they always change anything on the Handling. I didnt touch the F1 game since then.

Severe FFB Issues
Since the most recent update, I’ve noticed a big change in how the FFB feels. I’m on a direct drive wheel, and before the patch the steering felt solid and connected, but now it’s very light and almost springy, like there’s a rubber band effect pulling the wheel back to center. Even with the same settings I was using before, the resistance and road feel are greatly reduced, and I’m not getting the same weight or detail through the wheel. It almost feels like the FFB strength has been capped or the self-aligning torque has been altered. Is anyone else experiencing this after the update? Would be great if EA could clarify whether FFB was intentionally changed or if this is a bug. - tn1322 months agoSeasoned Vanguard
Did the latest patch get rid of the tire wear indicator on the OSD, right beside where the worn engine component indicator comes up? It used to come up orange when the tires were starting to become worn and get brighter until it was almost red. I have run tires to over 50% since the patch and no indicator has come up.

Honestly, I'm a little less motivated to play than before the patch.
I was hoping for a better game, but it didn't feel as polished as I'd hoped.
Anyway, I'm enjoying 25 overall and I'm satisfied. I don't want to sound too harsh, but there's definitely room for improvement.First of all, the wet race handling definitely needs improvement. F1 23 is a good reference.
And I think the AI is relatively good. The only problem is that the perceived intensity varies greatly from track to track and corner to corner. This could be attributed to individual setup and skill differences, but I've been playing this series for quite some time, so I think it's basically consistent.
I've been playing F1 games for a long time, so I'm familiar with all the circuits, but Silverstone in 25 is really tight. It wasn't like that in 23. Imola is also tight. Bahrain and Singapore are tighter, but not terribly difficult. Lowering the difficulty would be a good thing, but the problem is that the other circuits are too easy. Belgium, Australia, Austria, and Saudi Arabia are already too easy. The AI is either too good or too bad at some corners. That's the biggest problem.
The AI in Canada's T9 is too fast, and T10 is too slow. Imola's T12-13 and T14-15 are also too fast. Imola is so difficult that I can't even enjoy it anymore. Monaco's T18 is too slow, and Texas' T9 is always the corner where the AI runs away. Silverstone seems tight because it's not weak at all corners.
The developers will remember T7 at F1 22 Zandvoort. This issue may continue to be raised unless the differences in some corners are improved to maintain consistency across the circuits. - Marty_KAR2 months agoSeasoned Scout
I'm downloading 1.12 now. I'll race Abu Dhabi tomorrow to end Season 2 of Driver Career. It probably won't rain in Abu Dhabi, but I'm keen to experience how the Car and the AI perform after this recent update.

Just had my first wet session, well semi wet race it started dry and rain began about halfway through. I have to say that this patch has improved the AI in the rain, they aren’t quite as crazy quick out of corners, though I think a small tweak to the amount of player car rear grip in the wet, especially with full wet tires, would go a long way to making wet racing more enjoyable.
I still found that I wasn’t able to get off the corners, particularly slower corners, nearly as strongly as the AI due to my rear tires spinning up a lot more than theirs.
Granted, I was at Singapore which isn’t one of my best tracks overall, so that could skew the results a little bit. Overall though I think there is good improvement in the AI wet performance making it far more raceable, though like I said, a little bit more grip for the player car wouldn’t hurt, especially on full wets.
