I completely agree with this post. I also find the excessive tire smoke distracting and inappropriate for a game that aims to realistically simulate Formula 1 racing. What bothers me even more is the inconsistency between platforms it's unreasonable that console players are at a disadvantage while PC players can disable this effect.
Fairness and equal opportunities in crossplay should be a given. I sincerely hope EA takes this issue seriously and delivers a solution as soon as possible ideally through a unified disable option across all platforms.
