I'd also add that the game should include drivers who left F1 in the last few seasons. So they could be brought back (like Perez, Botas...).
And of course, pre-season testing, movie day, well as in-season testing (e.g., tire testing), and post-season testing for young drivers (in every F1 and F2 series).
And also competition in F2 just like in F1 (with a teammate, for the championship, against someone from the academy...)
Character customization should be similar to that in FC (FIFA) and also include height, weight...

Tire pressure settings can be changed during the race when changing tires (similar to changing the front wing). Useful in changing weather and beyond.
Place the functions displayed on the Multifunction Display (brake balance, differential, tire temperature, brakes, engine, vehicle damage...) on the steering wheel display, so that everything can be viewed in cockpit camera mode by switching pages on the steering wheel screen (just like on real Formula 1 steering wheels). This would be a good option for those using the cockpit view, but for those using other cameras, the Multifunction Display is still a good option and should remain.

Exactly like Free Agents in the F1 Manager series as long as they are associated with a real life team such as an affiliate, MotoGP has a Pre Season Testing feature in its career mode.
And the one thing that has always bugged me off about this game is the limited character customization, I mean why cant you do what every other sports game does perfectly and create your own appearance rather than choose a preset from Codemasters and EA, Fifa has never let you do than neither has NBA2K or FIFA/FC, so makes no sense why F1 doesn't but probably because you will only see your characters appearance on the podium or in cutscenes.
