Need Jordan colour scheme

Ideally, we’d get multiple classic liveries, even if they show them in different colours from real life. Last year’s game, the liveries were poor. I have little hope of the, stepping it up based on the designs shown for My Team 2.0 so far. 

I'd totally support real-life liveries from the past.

It's a way to get around the classic-cars argument as you'd have a classic-liveries instead so you could have your MyTeam/F1 World car have the Jordan livery, or the Renault livery or a BMW one.    Wouldn't need to worry about all the different handling styles of different generations of cars if you just had their appearance!    I expect people would think it's a cop-out, but you'll never please everyone! 

I'm not a fan of the custom liveries in the game... at all.  They never look like they belong on a grid (although that might change with the decal editor) so the best option you have is waiting for them to put an alternative livery run by a current team in the F1 World challenges that you can unlock by beating a time.... and then having two similar looking liveries on the grid, which is just rubbish too. 

However, your idea.... nailed it.  A realistic F1-looking car that makes logical sense. 

The decal editor will let us put stickers on realistically, the base liveries so far don’t look that great. But we have not seen the full game yet or what the store has sonI reserve criticism for now. But if it’s like the last 3 years it shows they aren’t listening. 

The original Jordan liveries were basically cigarette brand advertising. Benson & Hedges/Bitten & Hisses. I'd also imagine that in classic EJ fashion, those designs would be HEAVILY copyright protected. Even the shade of Yellow was an IP of Jordan, and DHL still pay monthly royalties for using it. 

A nod to them would be a nice touch from EA/CM though. 

Decal editor is a step in the right direction as they clearly acknowledge that the My Team liveries stand out like a sore thumb on the grid amongst the real cars, as the designs have been so poor!!! I think they try to go too whacky and throw as many swirls and colours as possible into a small panel and stretch that texture over the car until it looks pixelated. It's like they were designed by kids let loose on Microsoft Paint. We need to see some more authentic looking designs, especially when the there are so few liveries available compared to older games, and at an inflated pit coin price.

Why would anyone use this? It's an eyesore!

More mature designs will look authentic alongside the real drivers on the grid. Allow the player to customise the sponsor placement on them as well.

At the moment, it really does look like the design department is an afterthought and they just go on shutterstock at the last minute, get a bunch of these textures and stretch them over a car livery template and shove it in the game.

Since EA bought Codemasters, there's been a huge focus on Microtransactions, and that's fine!! That's how modern gaming is, and studios/investors need to maximise profit. It's a business at the end of the day..... I'm not here to moan about that. But give us something worth purchasing, and we will buy it!! 

F1 2021 Podium Pass - So many liveries and helmets in each season

F1 24 Podium Pass - 90% F1 World Bits......

Compare the Podium Pass content from F1 2021 to F1 24, and the difference is astounding. F1 24 was 90% F1 World Thing Filler with barely any liveries or helmets compared to previous games. Consider that the VIP tier was priced the same as the old games as well and the value for money here is not great! My rant here isn't that microtransactions exist. It's that the content is so bad!! 

I used the same helmet from F1 2020-F1 23 in my league racing career, and kept the same colour scheme. I LOVED that in F1 23, it was readily available in the "Store" from Day 1. This was a positive move! I don't mind paying the premium to have the item I want available from Day 1. But F1 24' store was EMPTY! Why did all this content get removed? Including my helmet I had used for a couple of years. I saved my 18,000 pitcoin hoping it would pop up in the store, but we are a week away from F1 25, and not only did I not see a single helmet i liked, I still have all 18,000 pitcoin, which was the ONLY real incentive to pre-order. 

That second video link I posted probably sums up EVERYONE's opinion on Podium Pass. I hope the devs watch it and make changes for F1 25. As he says, nobody is unlocking 900 insights and cash and feeling happy about it..... They throw this stuff at you in overwhelming amounts just for playing the game, so why flood Podium Pass with it? Why charge us 9,000 pitcoin for the VIP tier which is even more filled with F1 World Things. Nobody plays F1 World..... How are you unlocking 30 tiers without getting a single customisation item?
