Shadow, Blind Corner, Gamma, HDR

I can barely see anything in the corners below due to the shadows.

This was pretty much the case in previous series as well. But when I capture, HDR is removed and it looks a bit better.
Is it a bad choice to turn HDR on?
And I wonder if this is the same as on real circuits, real drivers have this difficulty or if it's just in the game.
And I'm using a gamma value adjusted to 85. Shadows might get better if I raise the gamma, but a gamma value of 100 is not the right black balance.
If I set 100 gamma value, black halo or tires look like washed-out black. The color balance between the track and the car doesn't seem right. It's hard to find the right gamma value.
