Cant access any online game modes - error cites 'parental controls'

About 6 weeks ago my stepson was suddenly unable to access any online game modes on EA FC24.

The game starts to connect to EA servers, then the following message appears "you cannot use this content because of parental controls".

There is nothing in the playstation family management settings that suggests he should not be able to access any features of this game. He is set to 10yo.

He was able to access the features fine until about 6 weeks ago.He is playing on PS5.

On my own account I am able to access all features of the game.

    I'm sorry to say, those under the age of 13 are not permitted to play online modes of our games. You can find out more about this in the article here.

    In case anybody else was having this issue and came across this, I solved by removing Web browser restrictions on my stepsons PSN account via the app.

    As I've read elsewhere EA games should default to the sony/playstation parental settings.

    Hi, i actuslly do have the same problem but with PS4. Which app are you takling avout? The EA FC 24 app or PS app? 
    my problem is as well that i can’t create a children account for him for EA??
