Cant add evo'd player recovered from quick sell recovery to club?

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Quick sell an evo'd player, evo him again in another evo and then use quick sell recovery on the one you quick sold.
What happens when the bug occurs? Cant store either evo'd player in club, even after using 1 of the 2 in an SBC.
What should be happening instead? I should simply be able to add him back to the club. I dont really see the point of not being able to evo the same player in multiple evos either. You can have multiple different special cards of the same player in your club, so why not with Evos?

I used Ben White in the Centurions Centre Back Evo, but because he is a better choice for the Marauder Evo I quick sold him.


I wanted to see if I could have both in my club, in case I could further evo the Centurions Center Back in the future, so I used a quick sell recovery to get him back after I finished the Maurauder evo. Couldnt have both in my club so I figured I might as well use the 83 in an SBC. After finishing an SBC with the 83 version I went to put the 86 Marauder Evo Ben White back in my club but get an error message saying: "There was a problem communicating with the Football Ultimate Team Servers. Please Try again later".

Only way around it seems to be to quick sell him and move on, but I would obviously prefer to have him in my club and use him.

Added pictures of how it looks on the companion app and web app, on console I go to claim new item and get the error message mentioned above.

I tried buying a player from the market, and doing a player SBC to see if I could force out a screen on console where I could send him to my club but nothing seems to work.

    I have the problem which Gwinn I use the other for sbc and went I tried to recovery the other I can due.

    Im having the exact same problem with Luke Shaw (91) put my 85evo version in an sbc tried to reclaim my 91 only to not have the option to send him to club, click swap with duplicate and it says move failed when trying on the app. When i try to access it on console (XB1) it says there was a problem communicating with football ultimate team servers please try again.

    I have contacted EA twice and on both occasions been told it is being worked on at the earliest opportunity, but after seeing when the first two posts were made im extremely pessimistic to this being fixed anytime soon.

    This has been the case for 2 weeks so far. Goodbye TOTY promo wish i could have taken part ☹️

    Same here mate, i cant open packs either, which as it is the basis of the mode makes the game pretty much unplayable, i have requested a refund but doubt i'll hear back from anyone. So sadly no solution yet mate.

    On a side note i could just discard my 91 evo Shaw but why should I? I waited so long for an evo that he was even eligible for and i put the time in to evolve him, i want him back in my team!

    Happening to me currently my game won’t let me open packs and it’s very annoying also went let me quick sell my 88 evo Bernardo silva who I’m trying to get to 92 any one able to help

    Havent got it back mate, still cant do anything unless i totally discard him. Spoke to EA support again and was told it would be sorted by the end of last week but here we are another week later and still not resolved.

    Heard enough bs from EA now in regards to this so have decided to not buy EA FC in the future. EA chose not to renew the FIFA deals due to price and creative restrictions (though the lack of creativity on EA FC is plain to see) and then proceeded to release, imo, the glitchiest, scammiest, most bug-riddled football game i can remember (and yes im sad and have played them all since FIFA international soccer on the mega drive) is this merely a coincidence? Bring back FIFA, at least they kept EA slightly more honest than they have been this year in regards to prices and rewards.

    Im so glad that hopefully (if true) within the next few years there will be several football games on the market and people will have a choice of how to get their 'football fix' i suspect there will be many that choose not to buy EA FC and i dont mean to be disrespectful towards PES or whatever its called nowadays but sadly that game has failed to really rival EA thus far.
