So i bought EAFC 24 on the EA App, i thought everything was good to go for launch. I couldn't download it and looked at my order status, i had not been charged and i didn't know what to do. Since i couldn't download the game i refunded it. Got refund and went to buy EAFC 24 ultimate edition back on Epic Games. This time it charged me money. But still having trouble downloading the game, It just says preparing. I have spent about 100 dollars for a game that dosen't download. I've tried to solve this problem for almost a day now, please help

Been trying to fix this for 2 days straight. No one has come up with anything. I have done it all. Even reset my whole PC just to see if it was any of the other programs i had that was interfering. NOTHING works. This is god damn stupid, been excited for weeks and i have even taken time of from work to play, but i can't 👍 same thing every year with this company

I also have the same problem. I've tried reinstalling the EA app but no luck. I can only access the web app. They need to fix this asap. What's the point of preordering if we can't even download the game? Please let me know if something works for you.

Hi, I cancelled my pre-order version, bought new ultimate edition. I checked EA payments, the new one was fullfiled, so I did steps I sent above and it helped me to download and now I can play the game.

Mine has now started downloading. I just keep downloading after it said error, and also clear caches on the EA app. To do so > top left corner of the app you have 3 lines which you click on > click Help > App recovery. worked for me

Hi dude, I had the same problem, this helped me:
Close the EA app completely by opening the Task Manager by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESC. In the Processes tab locate the EA app and EA background service, and end the processes.
2. Locate the EAdesktop.exe file on your PC in the Electronic Arts\EA Desktop folder.
Direct address: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

Much appreciated reply, i'm pretty sure i did everything correctly but it still gives me the same resluts. At this point it must be something wrong with the EA App still thinking i haven't payed for the game.

UPDATE: My game finally is able to download after struggle. I had to give it time for it to work. Please keep this thread going if problems still occur

I got ea play, finished 10 hrs, decided i want to play more to see if its actually worth 60 euros..
Got ea play pro and it says trial expired.
Contacted the ea helpdesk two times but apperently they working on it...
Really painfull because weekend is almost over
