can't open the game

Every time I try to start up the game it says preparing game and then shows this error

we've noticed your computer is currently offline. To activate your game on this computer using your EA Account, you'll need to connect to the internet.

But I am connected to the internet and everything else works perfectly good. Would love an answer highly annoying.
