Same issue.
Created a custom team "South Hampshire United," as a 1 star team with very little money. Created 11 players and signed them to my custom team that is in the Premier League.
After season 1, I had to make 2 saves to start a new season. Every year 1-2 of my created players would disappear (but no issues with the game crashing in Squad Hub). However, it wasn't always the same players who disappeared. I tried everything (e.g., resigning them to contracts before advancing to season 2) - nothing worked.
Finally after 34 attempts, I randomly made it to season 2 with all 11 created players on my roster!
I just completed season 2, and now it is the same thing going into season 3. Only this time, whenever I am in season 3, if I click Squad Hub, the entire game crashes.
Again, I've tried everything in season 2, resigning players, changing their kits, everything. Nothing guarantees all 11 make it to season 3...and nothing has stopped the game from crashing at Squad Hub.
I'm giving up because even if I can get all 11 to season 3, I'm afraid the game is just going to crash again.
This is INFURIATING and such a waste of time. Career Mode is literally the only mode I play on the game. Just like Franchise Mode in Madden. I don't do Ultimate Team or any of the other stuff.
EA needs to fix this ASAP!!
Haven't played in weeks because of this issue, played through 2 manager career modes to see if this is still an issue. Created players were still deleted at the start of second seasons. This has been happening for months and there has been no fix.
