EA AntiCheat stops Game launch with E0670A01 (non specific) hardware error
Since the latest update of anticheat my son has been unable to launch FC 24 as anticheat complains about a hardware error:
We have updated all drivers, recovered and reinstalled Windows 11 on the existing drive and also on a "spare" drive (as there may be other drive issues) but the error is persistent.
EA haven't been particularly helpful and can't give any insight into what is being checked and whether this is a generic error code or a code returned by a failing hardware check.
There is nothing visible in Event Viewer as AntiCheat doesn't seem to log anything, we just get Windows saying it has failed and restarted a number of times.
Has anyone else had the E0670A01 error (I've tried to embed a screenshot from Onedrive but have attached it in case that doesn't work)?
There is an article about this code but we have followed all the steps to fix it (and more), it would just be nice if AntiCheat logged any hardware failures it comes across so we know where to look.
The Desktop (HP Omen GT13-1044na with 16GB RAM) is going back to HP for repair tomorrow (BSOD with page hash mismatches), I've narrowed that problem down to the hard drive but these errors still occur with a different hard drive connected.
My son is getting frustrated as he's been without his game for 2 weeks now and unless someone can give me a pointer I don't see that changing.
Is it possible to run an older Anticheat (prior to the recent update) or will it just get overwritten?
Where would I get an older version from anyway?
