Has anyone managed to resolve this issue yet? Or has anyone made any progress with EA flagging this issue?

Same thing happens to me. I've also seen people report this problem in other audio devices, but I still haven't found any valid solution. I'm forced to use the analog output of my PC with a different headphone whenever I want to play the game. It's difficult to understand how come an overpriced triple A game like this could have such a simple and anoying problem for so much time.
I have the same problem with a GIGABYTE B650 XAX in combo with a Radeon 6750 XT. Those microlag and audio issue are so boring, unbelievable that they haven't done anything yet. Oh and strange thing is that my friends doesn't hear it while I streaming on discord, and even if I record an instant replay it seems like nothing happened.
It seems, that this happens to all interfaces with ASIO support. In my case a RME Fireface UFX III and a RME Fireface UCX II have the same problem.
For me this was the solution. With any Focusrite/Scarlet, set the buffersize to above 1024.
Sound on FC24 gets perfect with focusrite/scarlet when i set the buffer size to 1024
Yes the buffer size is the problem here. I have a video on YouTube about this but not sure if self promotion is allowed. Essentially I fixed it by setting the buffer size to 1024, and routing the game audio through Voicemeeter and then to my interface, instead of letting FC 24 send audio straight to my audio interface.
