EA FC 24 MORE THAN 2 CONTROLLER NOT DETECTED

I tried to play the game with my friends with 4 controllers, but the game wont detect more than 2 controllers at a time. All the controllers work with no issue in my pc on all different games. I tried using 4 Dualshock4 controllers, 4 Xbox controllers, also mix of xbox and dualshock4 controllers. The game still wont detect more than 2 controllers.

I have the PC version of the game, downloaded from Epic Games Store. I tried installing on my other Pc, yet still the same issue. It does not seem to be a hardware issue, since the controllers work on other games with no issue.

It will be great if anyone can provide a solution for this.
