EA FC 24 Online Coop Seasons Not Working. (Xbox X|S).
My friend and I are both on Xbox Series S and have double checked our “EA friendship” to make sure is valid. However, when accessing Co-Op Seasons (or even online friendlies for that matter) we are unable to invite each other. It prompts both of us with a message that says: “Add friends in FC to be able to play together and track your season history in Co-Op Seasons.” Routers have been restarted and hardwired. This is not a user hardware issue. This is clearly a software issue on EA’s end spurred on by the entire forcing of the “EA Friends” nonsense. Please patch ASAP.
UPDATE: Co-Op seasons are now functional for Xbox X|S (for me at least). There must have been a small patch and now it’s fully functional.
For others STILL having the issue here’s an important suggestion: Double check and make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you and your friend have the exact same version installed. For example, I had a DIFFERENT friend who did not have the X|S version installed because the Xbox One (NOT X|S) version was automatically installed instead. We were having the exact same issue until we double checked. Upon review he discovered he had the wrong version auto-installed, so we weren’t compatible to play season. Once he installed the correct version (X|S and not ONE) then we were good to go.
Yes. There must have been a small patch and now it’s fully functional. My only suggestion is to make SURE that you and your friend have the exact same version installed. For example, I had a DIFFERENT friend who did not have the X|S version installed because the Xbox One version was automatically installed instead. Upon review he discovered he had the wrong version, so we weren’t compatible. Once he installed the correct version we were good to go.
