Ea sports fc manager career mode keeps crashing

When I play the manager career mode, the game crashes every 5 minutes. This happens usually when I load a new page, for example when loading a short video clip when introducing a new player to the team, it crashes. At that moment, the game freezes and the only thing I can do is going back to the PlayStation menu, shutting down the game and restart it. This takes a lot of time and the progress in the game isn’t saved. 
Can this be fixed? It’s impossible to play manager career mode this way.
