FC24 on PC became unplayable overnight

Over the course of last night something happened to FC24 on PC that has made it unplayable for me. The game feels like its running at max 30fps when it was a lot smoother before but most of all it feels like there is roughly a 5 second input delay on whatever i do on the controller. 

Any ideas?
