In game fault

Hi I went to play FC25 and when am in a game it won’t let me shoot or do a through ball or cross and I’ve checked my setting it’s it’s on the right ones and the buttons aren’t broke because it lets me use them on other games can you help please paid £100 for a game I can’t even play. Thanks
