Any update on this? A few months since release and it is still the same.. Us manual players want to be back playing full manual!

Really annoying.

Simplest solution would be (like COMPETITIVE) having a controls setting for MANUAL/NO ASSISTS with all assists actually off.

It's the competitive setting overriding manual controls in online modes.

The fact this hasn't been fixed for so long is astounding.
