My pad does not connect with FC24

My ps5  pad always disconnect when lever I want to connect to FC24z it shows color pink on my pad. Itried to return my brand new ps5 thinking it was faulty, the company did a warranty test on my new ps5 and I was told nothing was wrong with the game. I was advised to contact EA sports. I’m very unhappy with this as I am unable to enjoy my FC24. Please who can help me out?
