Player Career Contract Renewal Bug

Currently on year 12 of a player career, playing in the year 2034. I get selected to participate in the 2034 Men's Int. Cup, and before the group stage begins, I make sure I've completed all of the current contract objectives to renew at my current club, including the optional wage objectives. That previous year I won the Premier League and the FA Cup, plenty of goals, etc. Get through the group stage of the tournament with no issues, but the Round of 16 game takes place the day before the year ends and where I would be given the opportunity to either renew my current club contract or transfer somewhere else. I play through the match and win, and the game automatically transitions me over to the End of Season screen (after about 20 seconds of loading on a blank screen that just shows the pitch background) where the game informs me that I actually finished 9th in the Premier League and have no other trophies (because it's going off of the preseason rankings as all of the clubs starting table positions are done alphabetically). 

When I enter the screen to renew my contract, despite it displaying green checkmarks next to every objective, the game tells me I have to change clubs. When I click that button and it sends me over to the list of suggested clubs the agent compiled, the game doesn't provide an option to sign with any of them with no button to click, despite me also having met all requirements for at least 4 of them. If I switch back to my current contract it still says "Change Club" and that's the only button option I'm given in this screen. Is there any fix for this? It functionally kills my save by not allowing me to proceed.
