Re: An error has occured and you are no longer synced with the online match

I attempted a wired connection and unfortunately the result was no different. There must be a way to resolve this as FC 24 cannot be the only game that doesn't work on my WiFi? If so then it's a game issue not my network surely?

Below is a screenshot of a recent wireless test. This indicates no issue surely?

You have .23% packet loss. That is substantial and is very common with wireless connections. When switching to a wire, make sure you power cycle your device as well as your network equipment.

  • Average is 0.03% and still no games completed?

It feels disingenuous to keep saying it's a wireless issue. I've just been disconnected from three games in a row after with this message immediately after downloading the latest title update - I've been playing daily for the past week with zero problems before that. It also looks like people have had this problem in past games. Can you please advise whether it's going to be addressed, or whether you are directed to only suggest connection problems? At the moment, the game is broken for me.

  • The game is also broken for myself despite a good wired connection and attempting all troubleshooting steps. I've attached my connection report and match history above. This is beyond ridiculous at this point.

I'd like you to run the Connection Quality Report and get me a screenshot of the overall score as well as the match history. You can find the button for that on the left side of the screen. Thanks!

It looks like you're using both wireless and wired connections. It would be best to stick to a wired connection. Also, what platform are you playing on?

  • I tried both the wired and wireless connection and the game cut out after 5 seconds with each. I am on PS5 and have even opened extra ports on the WiFi to try and help.

Please make sure you're only using a wired connection. You can also find troubleshooting help here.

Edit: I just noticed this is an alternate account from the one you were posting with previously in this thread. You were on a wireless connection. The best I can advise is to swtch to a wire.

  • Correct this is an alternate account as I have exhausted literally every other option so tried to make a new account. Also I have tried multiple times with a wired connection including 10 mins ago and the match was instantly disconnected yet again. Every step within your link I have tried to no avail including new DNS and safe mode cache clearing.

There really isn't much else to suggest. Are you now permanently using a wire? If so, did you power cycle everything after making the switch? Also, are you using at least a Cat 6 cable?

See below - disconnected with the error message a few seconds into each of the last three games (including  today), when I was playing fine before the title update.

You've got packet loss in every match. It would be good to contact your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues with your connection. Also, there is a link to some troubleshooting in one of my previous responses. Try those suggestions to see if they help. Thank you.

There is an absolutely miniscule amount of packet loss, as there was in all my matches; I've been playing clubs with packet loss since release, only getting this error after the update. I can appreciate if you have zero idea what's causing the error, but at least say that — gaslighting people into believing it's a connection issue is crazy. There are redditors who have the same error going all the way back to Fifa 18, and AMD GPUs seem to be a common thread; I still have no idea how to fix it, but at least that's something. I accept clubs is not playable anymore and I will stop trying to play. Thank you.
