How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I am unable to play Volta. I have paid £99 for this game and when loading up the Volta game mode I’m getting “There was an error accessing server data, please try again" even though when playing the Beta worked. I have tried talking to EA support on this and I get updates that they have fixed it or close my request or say there’s no issues with my account.
What happens when the bug occurs? Returns back to main menu
What should be happening instead? load into Volta and play with my friends

Can this please be looked into at a high priority.

    @GHOST_2O42 Did you get banned from volta last season for abusing the glitches? (not saying you did of course) But that may be why. For the fifa points, you now get them in 3 months span. So every month you get 1600 for the first 3 months

    Thanks for confirmation on the FC Points @Bzapppp I never been able to play Volta at all. FIFA 23 I bought back in December in game from FIFA 22 discount when they promoted at like £14. When I got it my friends could play Volta I could never get on. The odd times it had worked when checking the store but if I go back out and back in I would have got “There was an error accessing server data, please try again.” When I played FC24 beta it was all working which I thought they fixed the issue so I have got the game but I’m getting same message before. I have raised cases through to EA support and got to the chats and they either won’t respond or can’t answer why it’s doing it.

    @LastingLeW if you have any bans they should be listed on here. https://help.ea.com/uk/my-ban-history/ EA support chat doesn’t work and I emailed them this morning. They got back to me and said that I need to hardwire my internet and also contact my ISP. I don’t get how it’s an ISP issue and it’s already hardwired yet any other game modes and games all work fine.

    Just tried it with my Mrs account and it works. So it must be account specific. I don’t get why no one that’s official confirms there’s an issue and they’re trying to fix it.

    It's definitely not a home network issue. I got the same nonsense for months from the Web support team. They don't have a clue they just give the same script responses every team. This need an actual EA FC developer to fix the bug in their code.

    Hopefully we will get an official response from them on Monday. Support have checked my account they said it’s all fine and told me to force quit the game and relaunch. Which no surprise doesn’t work. I am waiting on their next steps.

    Hi @EA_Darko it is definitely account specific, I have checked on my account and there are no bans nor have I done anything to warrant a ban. When I purchased FIFA 23 back in December there was server issues which then in March they were fully not working with UT. When support notified that they were then fixed UT was working but Volta still was not working after going down and never worked since for me. When FC24 Beta was out Volta I gave Volta a go and it was working for me. Coming to ultimate being released I’ve not been able to get on it at all.

    When first launching Volta on FC24 I selected avatar, created club name and then it loads for a while and states “There was an error accessing server data, please try again” and every time I select Volta I get the above message. I have tried multiple solutions with EA Support and they don’t know what the issue is as well. But it seems like it’s Volta servers don’t work with my profile. Everything else is working fine at the moment, part from Volta

  • @EA_Darko It’s clearly not our connection if we can play other modes it’s clearly on developers end of things
  • I'm having the same issue both fifa 23 and 24,volta not loading, everything else works fine... Including pro clubs.

    Is there any update to this? I keep contacting EA support and they mark my case as fixed and send me a survey asking what I think of the service? The game has still not been fixed and doesn’t load. 

  • This is happening to me as well and I can’t even load into club lobbies either. This issue should be addressed with high priority, and should be fixed really soon. Plus there’s also a bug in Clubs where once you do a skill game to gain Weekly XP, upon completing a drill the game doesn’t loads to a blank screen to where you have to force quit your game.
