@slug27 I have the same issue with NFS unbound. It seems that it's just the ea games. Every other games even if they don't support atmos, the rear speakers work in atmos mode.
Please EA, patch the games

    It would be nice if EA could let us know if this is being looked into. I get that the Dolby atmos update is new on PS5 but still hope it will be fixed. I also tested some other EA games and pga tour golf and formula 1 2023 work well with atmos and rear speakers work on those games.

      I have this problem too. i use samsung q930 rear speak don't work
