Any danger of this getting fixed ? If i wanted to play 5 star teams every match I would choose a 5 star team . So so boring !!! What's the point of having all the other teams ?

Agreed. I just wanted to have a couple of games before the kids got up. Matched against Real then Liverpool... great fun...
Since FIFA 23, the same issue persists. I play on the PS5, and it's incredibly frustrating. I'm sure most of you play seasons with your favorite teams and want to compete against teams at a similar level. I play with my 3-star team, and once in about 10 draws (or even less often), I get matched with teams of a similar level. I constantly encounter teams where I practically have no chance, even if the opponents lack skill because they can just run forward, make crosses, or long-range shots, and my players from these 4 and 5-star teams hardly stand a chance.
In previous versions, it took longer to find an opponent. I play with Lech (Polish League), and I often face teams from the Turkish or Arab leagues, which have a huge advantage because they have several stars in their squad. I often get matched with teams like Man City, Chelsea, Juve, or PSG. I have strict matchmaking settings, but it doesn't help. Of course, I have to wait for the cutscene to reveal my opponent, as skipping it and entering the match will often result in the opponent not agreeing to leave the game when they see they've been paired with a weaker team.
It's genuinely frustrating how they've messed up this mode. I had hoped that in FIFA 24, it would be fixed, but EA completely ignored the issue.
