The game gets stuck on the opening screen. No matter how long I wait, it doesn't go any further than this. I'm facing the same problem since yesterday. When I contacted Xbox Support, they directed me here.

Do you have anything plugged into the USB ports? A headset receiver, controller, racing wheel, etc. If so, unplug these and try again. Should that work, you can plug everything back in once past that screen.

Experiencing same issue on Xbox one. It downloaded an update and now the game won't go past the white loading screen. Consider the price of these games this is wholly unacceptable. What is the actual fix it for without people losing hours of saved gameplay. If this is the only way to resolve this, you should be offering some sort of compensation/refund. There are people who make part of their living playing and investing in your games. You are letting all your users down.

If you have anything plugged in to the USB ports on your console, unplug them and try again.
Like everyone else keeps telling you there is nothing plugged into the console. And if your game can't load with anything attached to the console then you have a serious issue to resolve, I'm currently trying the uninstall and reinstall method. If this doesn't work, I'll be back in touch to try and get a refund from you. You can't take people's money and then make excuses when when your game won't work.

I have the same issue started yesterday where the game will not load past the White Flash page on my XBox One. I do not have anything plugged into any of the USB Ports, just my HDMI for TV and Power Cable. I tried yesterday the following:
- Cleared my Cache under settings
- Powered Off my XBox System, and unplugged Power Cable for more than 5 minutes.
- Finally had to uninstall the game and reinstall which fixed the issue yesterday, however I have the same issue today and cannot get past the white flash page.
There are multiple users on this support case that are obviously having the same issue. I have paid for this game but now unable to play it. What is EA Sports doing about this?
Same issue here. Uninstalled yesterday, then reinstalled and was fine. This morning has reverted back to the same problem.

fc24 help is the worst.
guy got me to reset my account privacy settings. Did nothing. Said it would be sweet in a couple of days and if not contact them back. Absolutely no help whatsoever - system is still not connecting to online modes. Want a refund
Same here. I hadn’t play any game since 2 weeks ago when i encountered the same issue on Saturday. The game just stuck there at the white splash screen with the triangle below turning without ending. Tried offline but no difference at all. Googled for solution and tried all the steps but nothing is fixed. Weird thing in my case here is all my saved data was gone by itself. Even the cloud data was gone without my deleting.
Btw, I am on Xbox one
