Avoiding challenges
Hello everyone
I would like to discuss two issues.
Number one, reckless challenges are sometimes rewarded in the game in situations where they would be penalized in real life. What I mean is this, if you make a dangerous slide tackle that forces the attacker to hurdle you to avoid damage, you will be called for a foul. But in this game, you are rewarded because the attacker hurdling naturally tends to lead to them losing possession, and fouls are not called.
Secondly is a less frequent issue, but I just encountered it today. I used a skill move to beat one defender, and wrong footed him, then used a long knock on to head towards goal. The defender stumbled, then attempted to slide and deflect the knock on, but missed, and was laying on the ground between my player and the ball. But the game forced my player to run in a straight path to follow the touch, and trip over the prone defender. In this instance, the referee rightly didn't call a foul, because my player obviously initiated the contact. Which is exactly my point here, there should have been a way for me to control my player and avoid that obstacle. I wish I had recorded this, but I hope that just my explanation is good enough to be understood.
I would humbly ask that this be looked into for improvements to slide tackle avoidance situations in both animations and refereeing decisions.
Thank you, all the best to everyone!
