Matchmaking

So i've recently moved close to Japan and so for the last couple of months i've had my matchmaking most of the time being with japanese and korean players, now since a week or so it's been impossible to play because i keep getting matchmaking with european people and so my ping skyrockets and i just can't play wl, i can't play rivals, i can't even play rush.. why is this matchmaking acting so random and useless
