Pace in FC 25 isn’t just about the pace stat; it’s influenced by a player’s body type, positioning, height, and aerial presence, all of which affect how fast they feel in motion. But due to input delay, server lag, and how graphics and animations are processed in real-time, the game can end up feeling like a ping-pong match—chaotic, inconsistent, and lacking fluidity. On top of that, the 4-2-1-3 formation is overused and limits tactical diversity among majority of players base, while 3 back formations have become unviable under the current mechanics. Speed boost abuse is still overpowered, skilful players and strong defenders aren't properly rewarded, and tactical depth is restricted by inflexible preset values (50, 70, 95) that can’t be customised before the match.
I ended game with 3 CB formation in FC 24 and in elite division but it is impossible in FC 25 but they don't care about 3 CB formation anymore or maybe no-one talked about it. They should try to balance these things in the game. Game should focus on variations of everything that's how they should attract people to this game.
EA think that players might be happy with the game because most people stopped talking about these issues but those most people got tired of speaking about facts and got used to what EA offered to us. I agree with the easy offense part as everyone can attack in this game but the main problem at the moment is defending should be an art, not some kind of trash, Tackle spamming gets rewarded, Speed boost can't be defended really well sometimes because with in game physics, Player doing speed boost get rebound with strong body type attacker like CR7 and Henry.
Evos are the best thing in FC 25 which made the game enjoyable for most players.
