There is a reason ea force manual setting at the pro tournaments. It just doesn’t make sense to play non manual offense.
I mean they can have easy offense in modes like friendlies or squad battles. I realize not everyone wants a larger skill gap. Some just want to jump on and have a casual mode with casual settings but come on for competitive modes.
Ea has already said the majority like the patch so won’t be changing it. It’s just a shame people don’t push for a larger skill gap. I don’t blame ea for listening to the community.

You say EA suggest majority like the patch, is there actual data for this? A lot of comments I read here, other forums and on YouTube etc. think the gameplay is worse. Majority of people I talk to offline, hate it and some stopped playing the game completely, shortly after this awful Refresh patch.
Not suggesting it's not accurate but given 2m copies were sold and quite a few players, play this game, presumably, to accumulate a team for boasting rights only, whilst having next to no understanding of how football should be played and by extension couldn't even begin to tell you the subtleties of the game and which gameplay was actually good, I do wonder where EA got the data that the majority of the 2m like this patch? Perhaps the handful of YouTubers, Pros and influencers? Because if so that is hardly the majority or is there actually some concrete data flying around?
